Escape to the Country host, Nicki Chapman, learned that she was suffering from a brain tumour last year. Since then, she has dedicated her time to raising awareness for the debilitating condition.
Speaking to The Brain Tumour Charity, she revealed how her journey with the condition began, as well as where she is today. In 2019, Nicki underwent an operation on her knee, and then, immediately following, she developed some unusual symptoms, such as slurred speech. Initially doctors thought I'd had a stroke but scans revealed a golf-ball sized meningioma," she explained. A post shared by Nicki Chapman.
