Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland is one of the most prolific goalscorers in world football at the moment and inspired his side to a 3-2 win over Sevilla in the first leg of their Champions League tie on Wednesday.
Haaland assisted Mahmoud Dahoud's goal and scored a brace, to take his tally to 25 goals and seven assists in 24 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
The 20-year-old is attracting interest from virtually every major European club and, although his idol is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, he has taken inspiration from Cristiano Ronaldo 's dedication and work ethic.
Speaking to ESPN back in 2019, his father Alf-Inge Haaland revealed he took inspiration from a story Patrice Evra told about having lunch with Ronaldo.
