England fans appeared to brand Hungary fans "racist b*****s" during the visitors' national anthem ahead of Tuesday night's UEFA Nations League clash at Molinuex.The two sides met just 10 days ago in a clash that was played behind closed doors after Hungary were slapped with a three-match spectator ban last year.
The ban was dished out by UEFA after Hungary were punished for 'discriminatory behaviour' by their fans. And they were slapped with another ban after a number of England players were subjected to racist abuse during a World Cup qualifier in Budapest last September.
Hungary won the most recent meeting 1-0 in a match that was attended by 30,000 children and their guardians, although England were booed when taking the knee before the match.But ahead of the return match at Molineux, England fans made their feelings clear during the national anthems, where they chanted ""You racist b******s, we know what you are" while jeering over the Hungarian anthem.The chant was also heard in the opening minutes of the match, which marked the end of a mini-flurry of international fixtures for Gareth Southgate's men, who have played four games in 10 days.Tuesday night's clash came just three days after the weekend's 0-0 draw with Italy - a match that was also played behind closed doors due to the chaos and disorder seen at Wembley during England's 1-0 defeat to the Italian's in the Euro 2020 final last summer.England were out for revenge against Hungary in front of 32,000 fans at Molinuex, but they made the worst possible start after falling behind just 16 minutes in.
