Brown, Giancarlo Esposito and Maya Rudolph). But other non-white performers, including Latinx and API, only made up 5.88% of nominees combined.
Behind the scenes, the Television Academy only nominated 12.5% people of color in the narrative writing categories and 14.2% in the directing categories, and when it came to series nominations, only one came from a person of color in the showrunner.
