Emmerdale fans have taken to social media to mock a message made by an ITV star before the latest episode aired.A voiceover message was issued before Wednesday's (July 6) episode hit television screens up and down the country.

Faith decided that she’s going to try to enjoy the rest of her life as much as possible, which means she no longer wants any treatment that leaves her feeling ill.She stunned daughter Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) by telling her doctor that she doesn’t want any more chemo.Chas pleaded with her to reconsider but is eventually forced to accept that Faith has made her decision.When Faith's son Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) found out, Chas is shocked that he makes a big show of not seeming to care either way.However, when Cain is alone it’s clear that he’s struggling with the idea that his mother is dying.Faith’s most heartfelt wish is for her son to forgive her and for them to have a loving relationship.
