Lisa Riley fought back tears as she opened up about losing her beloved mum Cath nine years ago on Monday's Lorraine. The Emmerdale star's mother, Cath, tragically passed away in 2012 aged just 57 following a battle with cancer.
Lisa joined Lorraine Kelly to discuss her new podcast, Grief Kind, and explained how there is "no timetable" for grieving a loved one.
She said: "It was a case of just getting my story out there because I’ve spoken so openly before about grief and how it affects different people." Lisa continued: "I wanted to be unbelievably honest and tell the truth about what I go through daily and the uphill struggle I have massively with being judged.
