Danny Miller has sparked a soap feud between Emmerdale and Coronation Street after TV rival Elle Mulvaney recalled what it was like to meet the queen on the set of the Cobbles last year.

On Thursday (May 12) stars from up and down the country stepped out in style to attend The National Lottery’s Big Jubilee Street Party in the heart of Manchester ahead of Her Majesty’s 70th anniversary on the throne.And it is understood that the Queen has been known to enjoy a few of the staple soaps on the silver screen over the years, so much so that she ventured up to Manchester herself last July.To celebrate 60 years on the airwaves, the 96-year-old went to the ITV set to meet some of the legendary cast and crew who have worked on the show for years.Now, in an exclusive interview with Daily Star, Elle has revealed what it was like to meet Her Royal Highness in the flesh on set.She revealed: “She was very nice, very posh as you’d expect from the Queen.“But she came down to the set and I think she just wanted to look at what life is like on the cobbles.”When asked if she enjoyed a pint of beer in the legendary pub, the Rovers Return, Elle confessed: “She didn’t have a pint - I think she’s more of a gin and tonic kind of girl our Lizzy.”It was at this point that Danny mumbled beside her: “I bet she’s never watched an episode of Corrie,” as he threw a playful side glance to his fellow actor.It comes after the TV star – who played the role of Aaron Dingle on Emmerdale – has been enjoying a year away from the show to enjoy his life as a new dad with his seven-month-old son Albert and his fiancée Steph Jones.Last Autumn, the 31-year-old found himself in the heart of the North Wales ruins of Gwrych Castle for the 21st series of I’m a.
