Currently sitting at No. 46 on the Hot Dance Electronic Songs chart, Elderbrook's latest track "Numb" is an homage to loneliness, an emotion many of us are feeling right now as social distancing keeps us at least 6 feet apart from our family and friends.
But the London-based producer born Alexander Kotz also finds unity in the shared sense of isolation, and certainly there's solace to be had in "Numb"s moody, sensual production, which lands in the niche of electronic music also occupied by artists like Rüfüs du Sol and Bob Moses.
A longtime producer, Elderbrook's profile was raised substantially via "Cola," his 2017 Grammy-nominated hit collaboration with CamelPhat.
