Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell (born December 18, 2001) is an American singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Highland Park, Los Angeles, Eilish began singing at a young age. She gained media attention in 2016, when she uploaded the song "Ocean Eyes" on SoundCloud, subsequently released by Darkroom and Interscope Records. "Ocean Eyes" was written and produced by her brother Finneas, with whom she collaborates on music and live shows. Eilish's debut EP, Don't Smile at Me (2017), reached the top 15 in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

msn.comBillie Eilish and Amanda Gorman are among the list of stars set to headline at the Met Gala this September. The relatively intimate event, which will feature a heavy-hitting contingent of celebrity co-chairs, will take place on September 18 followed by a larger event in May 2022.
Delayed from its usual May date because of the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s red carpet event will celebrate 75th anniversary of the New York museum’s Costume Institute.
Both events will launch a two-part exhibition, a survey of American fashion, which will be on view for almost a year. The September event will feature Actor Timothée Chalamet, musician Billie Eilish, poet Amanda Gorman and tennis star Naomi Osaka.
