Swindon Town striker Harry McKirdy stole the show at the EFL Awards on Sunday night as he rocked up wearing a bucket hat and snazzy Chelsea-inspired trainers.The 25-year-old has enjoyed a stellar season with the Robins having struck 20 goals and directly laid on a further nine more in 39 appearances for the League Two outfit.
McKirdy fired in a brace in Swindon's 3-0 success away to Hartlepool on Saturday to keep his side's play-off hopes alive, but that wasn't to be the only reason he would hit the headlines this weekend.Just over 24 hours after his double, the former Aston Villa academy graduate arrived at the swanky end-of-season EFL do sporting eyebrow-raising attire.
His outlandish outfit even saw him pay tribute to his beloved Blues.McKirdy arrived at the gala wearing a navy jacket and oversized trousers, in addition to a white bucket hat and matching white sunglasses.
If that wasn't eye-catching enough, the striker sported snazzy white Nike trainers, hand-customised to display his love of Chelsea.Gold stars had been penned on to the front of the sneakers in tribute to the club's two Champions League triumphs, while there was also room to give a nod to the goalscorers from those two glorious nights.
