Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward was reportedly involved in a row with owner Joel Glazer over a transfer for Jadon Sancho.The Red Devils were heavily linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund star Sancho all summer though a deal was never completed.It’s believed that United were unwilling to pay Dortmund’s £108m asking price for the forward having been consistently quoted that amount.Old Trafford boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wanted Sancho though a move for Edinson Cavani was eventually completed instead.And The Athletic say United chiefs Glazer and Woodward were involved in a ‘difference of opinion’ over Sancho.It is reported that Woodward wanted the owners to raise their offer with an initial bid of £80m plus add-ons.
