EasyJet air steward went beyond the call of duty on a flight from Munich to Manchester on Wednesday morning (June 8) when he was forced to clear one of the aeroplane’s toilets with his hands.Flight EZY1888 was on its way back from Germany, with a plane load of England supporters, who had made the journey out to see Gareth Southgate’s men draw 1-1 in their latest Nations League outing.Fans had been in cheerful mood after watching skipper Harry Kane salvage a late equaliser with his 50th goal for his country, but one passenger couldn’t contain his delight and needed to empty out, on the on-board lavatory.But the traveller left the privy in such a state that it was deemed unusable for anyone else who happened to be caught short on the two-hour flight that landed just after 1pm at Terminal 1.Striding to the rescue, then, was the brave steward, who was forced to enter the no-go zone and clear the blockage in whatever way he could.His efforts didn’t go unnoticed, with one fellow fan commenting on Twitter: “Some England fan left an unsinkable present on the plane, put the toilet out of use and the poor EasyJet lad had to go and remove it by hand...
