EASTENDERS star Gillian Wright was rushed to hospital after suffering a nasty injury. The actress - who is best known for playing Jean Slater on the BBC One soap - was left with a broken wrist while rehearsing for Snow White.
The TV star, who was set to appear in the festive pantomime in Chatham, was forced to receive medical treatment in hospital.
Gillian, 62, revealed that she had to undergo surgery and has been forced to pull out of the upcoming shows. Sharing a photo of her arm in a sling, she told fans: "Rehearsing a wonderful Wicked Queen in this lovely script, with these lovely people at Central Theatre in Chatham..Took a little fall in dance …broke my wrist. "Carried on with marvellous support from cast & crew & theatre, sporting a plaster cast, glittery sling & with the help of painkillers got through & did the Opening Night!"
