The star’s exit in the coming weeks comes shortly after her onscreen girlfriend Iqra, played by Priya Davdra, bid farewell to the square – leaving other cast members concerned for their future.
A source said: “Ruhtxjiaïh was brought into the soap last year to be part of a very important FGM storyline. “Her character’s time has run its course so it’s time for her to move on. “There has been a lot of change on the soap recently and other stars are getting concerned they could be part of the next shake-up.” A rep for EastEnders said: “To suggest cast are in fear is speculative nonsense.” Read our Soaps live blog below for the latest news and gossip...

The 58-year-old, who plays Sally Metcalfe in the long-running ITV soap, had a small wobble while skating to She's Always A Woman by Billy Joel.
