EastEnders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis has thanked Hollywood stars Tom Hiddleston and Hannah Waddingham in a gushing post, after they paid a sweet tribute to the Strictly Come Dancing winner.Rose lifted the glitterball trophy alongside professional partner Giovanni Pernice in 2021, after the couple danced their way to the final with a series of stunning performances.Their Romeo and Juliet routine to Clean Bandit's Symphony included 10 seconds of silence to highlight what life is like for Rose and other deaf people, leaving viewers and the judging panel in tears, including Anton Du Beke who described it as one of the best performances in the show's history.The routine is now nominated for Virgin Media's must see TV moment of the year at the BAFTA TV Awards 2022, and speaking in a BAFTA video, Marvel actor Tom Hiddleston described it as "the live event of the year".He said: "Rose Ayling-Ellis when she danced on Strictly and the music dropped out, that for me was the live event of the year."Ted Lasso and Game Of Thrones star Hannah Waddingham also paid a sweet tribute to Rose's achievements on the dancing competition, adding: "She was so beautiful in every way and her and Giovanni's chemistry and the change in him through the whole program, actually it makes me emotional thinking about it now."You could see that man being engulfed by who she was, what she was achieving, what she brought to the table and what a pleasure to just meet her just now."After a fan shared the video with Rose Ayling-Ellis on Twitter, the EastEnders actress gushed about the comments made by the two Hollywood stars, thanking them in a post saying: "Awww such lovely kind words from two absolute legends.
