Natalie Cassidy has bid farewell to her beloved Sonia Fowler character in EastEnders, however, she hints at a possible return to the soaps.
Since her 1993 debut, followed by a hiatus beginning in 2007, Natalie made a comeback to Albert Square in 2014, only to take another break recently.
Opening up to The Sun's TV Magazine about potentially switching to rival soaps on ITV like Emmerdale or Coronation Street, Natalie firmly stated: "I'd say: 'No thank you.' I've only got one soap in my heart.
If I ever go back to any of them, it'll be EastEnders." Despite leaving the show temporarily, the 41-year-old actress celebrated the 40th anniversary with a live episode last month, and this week sees her character Sonia part ways with Martin at his funeral service.
