EASTENDERS favourite Dean Gaffney will return to the I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! jungle as part of the All Stars series, we can reveal.
The soap icon — known for playing Robbie Jackson in Albert Square since 1993 — has agreed a deal with ITV bosses to appear. Dean, 44, will fly to South Africa in the coming weeks for the pre-recorded ‘Best Of’ series, which will star former campmates and is expected to air next year.
The star first appeared in the 2006 edition of the show, coming fifth as Busted bassist Matt Willis was crowned King of the Jungle.
A source said: “Dean is regarded as one of the best contestants the show has ever had. When the All Stars show was first mooted he was a name that everyone wanted to get on board. “It’s taken some time but he’s now signed on the dotted line and will be on the plane to South Africa with some other show greats.
