EastEnders star Jessie Wallace has been arrested for attacking a police officer in a drunken bust-up outside a nightclub.The actress - who is best known for playing Kat Slater on the BBC One soap - was allegedly taken in by police following a row outside Flex club in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.According to The Sun, Jessie was with her partner at the time before being released with a conditional caution.She was cautioned for the incident at around 2am on Sunday morning (June 19).A source told The Mirror that she was accompanied by a man when she was held by three cops after becoming abusive.The publication further reported that Jessie accepted the police caution.The 50-year-old soap veteran had earlier been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer and drunk and disorderly conduct.
A Suffolk Police spokesman told The Daily Star: “A 50 year-old woman was arrested early on Sunday morning in St Andrew’s Street, Bury St Edmunds, on suspicion of assaulting a police officer/drunk and disorderly conduct and was released without charge after receiving a conditional caution.”She had been attending a Madness concert at Thetford Forest, and was snapped posing with fans and dancing to the music with her builder boyfriend.
The Daily Star has contacted a representative for Jessie, while EastEnders refused to comment.Jessie previously opened up on her relationship with her builder boyfriend on Instagram back in May.It came after the lovers were pictured in a van together during an outing.
