thesun.co.ukTERMINALLY ill Lola Pearce doubted her other half Jay Brown could stomach standing by her side before her death. However, EastEnders fans were left in tears during last night's instalment when the pair finally tied the knot.
The hairdresser portrayed by departing actress Danielle Harold was initially excited to get hitched. As BBC One viewers may remember, Lola and Jay (Jamie Borthwick) have had to overcome many hurdles before eventually taking their romance to the next level.
But as she was getting ready for her big day with the help of Kim Fox (Tameka Empson), Lola was reminded of her condition with an impromptu nosebleed.
This ultimately led her to doubt whether marrying Jay with an inoperable and terminal brain tumour was a good idea, despite Kim pushing her to make the most of her last moments.
