EastEnders fans were left “fuming” tonight after the show was booted from BBC One to make way for Wimbledon.For the first time ever, the network ditched the soap and forced viewers to turn into BBC Two to catch up on the latest storylines from Albert Square.
The change is expected to last two weeks after the channel had to shake up its schedule for the annual tournament, but EastEnders will still be shown at its usual time of 7.30pm, Monday to Thursday. Many evenings no British players and low ratings so be fine leaving it on BBC 2."Another suggested: "Why don’t they just make BBC2 a sports channel and leave EastEnders where it is?
It would be so much easier".While a third stated: "Come on #EastEnders it’s like you want to sabotage the ratings, such as shame as EastEnders is so so good at the moment.
