EastEnders confirms Nancy Carter sterilisation plot after hospital visit mystery

EastEnders' Nancy Carter revealed all on her reason for heading to hospital this week, after her mother Linda Carter was left concerned after finding CBD oil in her coat pocket.

Nancy, played by actress Maddy Hill, opened up to her mum explaining her decision to undergo sterilisation. Linda initially misunderstood her daughter's confession, believing she was sick, asking her if there was something wrong.

But Nancy repeated her plans, before explaining that she had decided she did not want to have children. The NHS website describes the process of female sterilisation as "an operation to permanently prevent pregnancy." They add: "The fallopian tubes are blocked or sealed to prevent the eggs reaching the sperm and becoming fertilised." Nancy
