link.Now one school is taking extraordinary measures to ensure their pupils are following social distancing rules.On Monday, a teacher from St Andrew’s and St Bride’s High started following kids into East Kilbride Village at lunchtime to try to enforce separation.
That comes after the News last week highlighted fears pupils from the school were congregating in the Village and ignoring the guidelines.But one onlooker told us: “The teacher was having a very hard time of it – it was just her from what I could see.“She didn’t stand a chance.”We reported last week on the serious concerns of East Mains residents over the number of pupils from the nearby school congregating outside shops.Pictures sent to the News showed very little social.
