Changes to the furlough scheme are on the way from August 1, when employers will be required to contribute 20 per cent of employees wages as the UK Government reduces its share to 60 per cent.

The financial support for businesses is set to end on September 30, 2021. And for self-employed people, the fifth Self Employment Income Support Scheme grant (SEISS) will be the last.
