Dundee mum finds insects crawling inside bag of flour but Tesco tell her it's 'common'

Tesco. Dani Stewart, 32, bought the 60p bag of flour three weeks ago and put it in the cupboard unopened. But when she went to bake a carrot cake, she discovered it was crawling with bugs.

The mum-of-five, who lives in Dundee, was horrified and had never seen insects living in flour before. She complained to Tesco but was stunned to be told it was 'normal' and believes it was insinuated that her own hygiene standards were poor.

Dani, who owns two cleaning companies, said: "I bought the flour around three weeks ago and never opened it."I was just going to make a cake and I opened it up and there were loads of bugs in it."It was a brand new packet.
