Dumbarton's Castle View care home praised after inspection visit

The Care Inspectorate showed up to Castle View last month unannounced and carried out the audit with staff and management being given credit for infection control and supporting residents’ wellbeing.The home, run by HC-One, was ranked good or very good for all sectors of the report.There were 43 people living in the facility at the time of the inspection, with room for a maximum of 60 residents.Residents gave feedback to inspectors with comments such as “the staff are very kind and friendly”; “I like it here, I’m comfortable, I have a nice room”; “the staff are nice, I get on with them well”.As well as being commended by residents,.
