'Ducking' driver sees vehicle seized despite his cunning trick

After declaring "You can't stop me if you didn't see me" when stopped, the driver was allegedly found to have been driving without a licence or insurance.

The red Vauxhall motor was subsequently seized and the driver reported. Driving without a licence is a serious offence that can carry significant penalties.

Under the Road Traffic Act 1998, it is an offence to drive a vehicle without a licence that is appropriate to a vehicle of that particular class.
