Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

drunk mum who left her kids home alone was caught by police officers covered in grease and claims she has a perfectly good excuse for the bizarre circumstances.Magen Hendry, 28, was chased by coppers after they spotted her black Audi driving dangerously at 3am in Stockton, County Durham.Teeside Crown Court heard that Hendry had left her two children in bed and then went to drive her drunk pal home, heading through two sets of red lights.Police initially lost sight of her vehicle, but found it abandoned in a car park with the beautician hiding behind a wall.Hendry had covered herself in "anti-vandal" grease, reportedly as an attempt to camouflage herself behind the wall where she was hiding with bleeding feet.Police then found her two youngsters at home crying out for their mum, but Hendry has explained why she was behind the wall and covered in grease. She said: "I was covered in grease because I climbed over a wall to access a short cut home - I didn't lather myself in it to camouflage myself - I don't even own anti-vandal grease."My friend and I were decorating my home with balloons for my daughter's birthday."She continued: "I told my neighbour where I was going as it was easier than waking the children up and bringing them with me at 3am.

I wasn't going 90mph or anything like that and then the police saw me."I didn't want to drive anymore so I dropped my car in the car park and started walking home."Hendry pleaded guilty at Teeside Crown Court to two counts of child neglect and one count of dangerous driving, with Judge Howard Crowson handing the 28-year-old a two-year supervision order and an 18-month driving ban.Judge Crowson stated that Hendry had been "careless about the welfare of your children and of other.
