Vladimir Bekes was six times over the drink drive limit when he took to the wheel and travelled on the M56. Bekes, 37, collided with a lamp post near the A540 in the early hours of Friday June 4. A member of the public flagged the officer down and pointed to a Ford Mondeo which was stationary at traffic lights on Ledsham Road.
