A driver was stopped by police after travelling more than 200 miles from Essex to Wigan to buy a new car. Officers pulled the car over on Warrington Road in Platt Bridge in the early hours of Wednesday morning (May 13).
The driver had travelled more than 200 miles from Essex to Wigan to purchase a Volvo, police said. The car was also found to be uninsured and the driver didn't have a driving licence.
Police seized the vehicle. They also issued a warning for breaking coronavirus lockdown rules.
