A property developer caught driving while disqualified - and over the booze limit - on one of Scotland’s deadliest roads was fined £2400 when he appeared from custody at Perth Sheriff Court.Thirty-seven-year-old John Angus was also put off the road for five years after he was pulled over by police at 9.45am.The court heard he had been seen driving “erratically” on the A9.Checks revealed he was banned from driving, had no insurance cover and was behind the wheel with almost double the legal alcohol limit.He admitted driving with 39 microgrammes of alcohol on his breath - the maximum allowed is 22 - on the Perth-Inverness road, near Birnam, on March 19 this year.He was still under a ban and had no accident cover.Depute fiscal Robbie Brown
