This septuagenarian isn’t satisfied with being a viral meme sensation. When asked Sunday’s episode of “60 Minutes Australia” what her “retirement age” will be, Dolly Parton made it clear she is not stepping out of the game. “Well, I don’t plan to retire.
I just turned 74 [and] I plan to be on the cover of Playboy magazine,” the legendary singer-songwriter told Aussie correspondent Tom Steinfort when he visited her in Nashville.
There is precedent for Parton’s Playboy pitch: The “Jolene” singer first graced the cover of Hugh Hefner’s iconic men’s mag back in 1978.
