Inga Ozola, of Seven Stars Road, Leyland, was given an 18-week suspended sentence and ordered to do 120 hours of unpaid work after causing "unnecessary suffering" to the dog by not taking him back to the vets for treatment and burying him alive.

On April 27, 2019, a couple were walking their dog in a remote spot near Worden Park when their pets sniffed out something buried in the ground.
