Rapper DMX is still alive and remains on life support, according to his manager. Steve Rifkind, who has worked with the hip-hop icon for three years, shut down rumors that surfaced Thursday claiming DMX died. "Hi everybody, please stop posting with these rumors.

DMX is still alive. Yes, he is still on life support," Rifkind said in a video posted on his Instagram. DMX's manager went on to say the rumors of his death, which surfaced on Twitter late Thursday, are "false." He added that the rapper's family is expected to put out a statement sometime on Friday.
