You were studying while DJing. How did you manage both?My masters project was looking at the health effects of certain chemicals on killer whales off the coast of Vancouver, British Columbia and Canada.
DJing was something I was doing for myself on the side.I just loved music and it made me happy, but then I released my EP, Jaydaisms in 2016 and was offered an agent not long after.
Things snowballed from then on. I started getting booked for shows and touring while I was still writing my thesis. It was pretty intense.
I wouldn't recommend anyone trying to do both.Do you merge the two together? It usually happens in an organic way.
