Distraught woman who searched for lost cat for years told she can't get him back

A woman who found out her cat was still alive after going missing three years ago has been left distraught by the news that she can't get him back.

Deborah Spencer and her partner lost Oscar back in February 2018 after moving house. The pet had been cared for by Deborah since 2004 when he was only 18-months-old, living happily with her in Doncaster before disappearing during the move.

Heartbroken Deborah did everything she could to find him, calling local vets and rescue centres as well as handing out leaflets, the Mirror reports.
