Fans flocked to Disneyland on Friday as the park opened its doors for the first time in more than a year - but hugging Mickey Mouse is still strictly off limits.
Masks for youngsters aged just two and over as well as temperature checks were some of the measures required as California's world-famous attraction welcomed visitors back.
The park, which is usually swamped by tens of thousands of guests a day, has been transformed into a socially distanced and Covid-secure venue.
Under pandemic guidelines, "The Happiest Place on Earth" is open only to California residents and accepting just 25 per cent of its maximum capacity at any given time.
