But she and her daughter Hayley Vickery, 58, somehow managed to get on the wrong flight after being led to a Wizz Air plane by a member of staff.It was only when the pair landed and arrived at passport control that it dawned on them and border force security a mistake had been made, Mirror reported.
Joan and Hayley had actually touched down in Poznań, Poland – around 680 miles from Ljubljana. The rest of the wedding party, who had boarded the correct flight, realised halfway through their journey that Joan and Hayley were not sitting in their seats.
As the pair had no medication for Joan or a phone charger to contact the rest of their party, Hayley spent hundreds of pounds in the next 24 hours to make sure she got to Slovenia in time for her son's wedding.
