Disabled Lanarkshire veteran gearing up for 12-hour charity cycle

iOS - Android And, leading by example, ex-veteran will cycle on his new Tri-Bike, Hand-Pedal from his home in Larkhall to Cambuslang where he will carry on indoors in the gym at Energie Fitness for another eight hours, before cycling back home again.David was injured in Northern Ireland after being bombed through an Improvised Explosive Device in Armagh in 1985.As a result, David injured his spine and has no use of his legs, after suffering other medical problems he was supported to get “on his bike” by his GP and other staff in his local surgery.And so, David will be raising money for four forces charities that have helped him over the years: Erskine, Sight Veterans Scotland, Blesma and RBLS Area Community Support.
