Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Diogo Jota was sent home from their hotel after suffering with a bout of sickness.The former Wolves striker has been out of action since December, after picking up a leg injury in the final Champions League group game against FC Midtjylland.Jota had been in stunning form prior to his injury, with his absence coinciding with the Reds' title defence collapsing.Klopp was set to be able to call upon the Portuguese star for the trip to face Sheffield United, only for the forward to miss out through illness.The champions managed to pick up all three points against the doomed Blades, with a strike from Curits Jones and a Kean Bryan own goal giving them a 2-0 win.Along with Jota; Alisson and Fabinho.
