As Prime Minister Rishi Sunak plans to host a big lunch at Downing Street in honour of the King’s Coronation, Brits are being encouraged to share their plans for the Bank Holiday weekend so that others can get involved in the festivities.
The Government has launched a digital map where members of the public will be able to add their events they are hosting over the Coronation weekend so others in the local community can find out what is happening and get involved.
The interactive map will feature Coronation Big Lunches, street parties and volunteering activities that are taking place from Saturday, May 6 to Monday, May 8.
