Derek McInnes admits he'll still have to deal with a threadbare squad when his side take on St Mirren in the Betfred Cup. None of the eight players who sat out of Wednesday's 1-1 draw will be available, although Niall McGinn made it back on the bench for that clash after missing the heavy defeat to Rangers.
He also has to look after the likes of Dean Campbell, Curtis Main, Greg Leigh, Sam Cosgrove and Matty Kennedy who have all had lengthy injury problems recently.
Aberdeen are set for their third away clash in a row and are back down to the west of Scotland to take on St Mirren and McInnes is just hoping to get through a tricky spell with no more injuries.
