McInnes is fresh out of work after leaving Aberdeen by "mutual consent" last month. He took over the Dons back in 2013 after they had finished in the bottom half of the table for four seasons running and he left them as one of the best sides in the country outside of Celtic and Rangers.
Despite the sour end to his tenure, he isn't expected to struggle for offers, and he says he has already had one club interested.
But having been in management for 14 years with virtually no break, the former St Johnstone boss is content to continue with punditry work for now and recharge his batteries before the right project opens up.
