Depraved thieves steal sleeping angel statue from James Bulger's grave

thieves have stolen a sleeping angel statue from above the grave of James Bulger, the toddler who was murdered in 1993.Taking to Facebook, his mum Denise Fergus explained that her husband Stuart went to the grave to clean it and lay some flowers yesterday morning (June 22).That's when he realised the statue was missing.Denise, 53, said: "Stuart went and cleaned James' resting place and put down some new flowers."He has come back and told me that this sleeping statue has been taken.READ MORE: Jon Venables 'will kill again when he's let out of prison', warns James Bulger's dad"It's made of concrete and has a bit of weight to it so it hasn't blown off anywhere."How low do some people have to be to actually take from a baby's grave."She also shared images of the grave, one with the statue on top and others with it clearly missing.People were quick to vent their fury and offer Denise support in the comments section.One person said: "They are the lowest of the low, low life scum.

Thoughts with you all xx."Another wrote: "Omg absolutely disgusting how can anyone be so cruel as to rob off a dead child’s grave.""Oh scum bags they are, hope karma gets them," said a third.

James was only two-year-old when he was abducted and killed in Bootle, Merseyside by Robert Thompson and Jon Venables, both 10 at the time.

Both boys were found guilty of abduction and murder in November 1993, making them the youngest convicted murderers in modern British history.
