Deontay Wilder has been given a six-month ban following his brutal beating at the hands of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.The American was battered in a legacy-defining trilogy fight by his rival in what is considered a boxing classic.Wilder knocked down Fury twice before being dropped three times himself in an all-out-war, finally losing in the 11th round by knockout.And the long list of injuries sustained by Wilder mean the Nevada State Athletic Commission has banned him from fighting again until at least April 8, ruling out the former champion for six months.Wilder bled from his nose, ear and mouth as he sat in his corner at the end of the eighth round but was deemed fit to continue.He was taken straight to hospital following the bout.
