Deborah James shares heartfelt message on ITV's Lorraine after milestone achievement

Lorraine's show.Cara Hoofe was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2016, initially as stage four and went for genetic testing which revealed that she had a gene that made her more susceptible to bowel cancer.Cara has been advocating for Marks and Spencers to promote bowel cancer awareness on their toilet roll.She was recently successful and now M&S feature some "signs and symptoms" information in their staff and public toilets, as well as on the packaging of their loo roll.She spoke to Lorraine about the incredible achievement and the host had a surprise for her.Deborah James had filmed a video for Cara, which played on the screen as Cara held back her tears.The bowel cancer awareness advocate congratulated her on the success and said that she was "so pleased" for her.Cara was clearly touched by the sentiment and wiped away her tears as she listened to Deborah speak.She continued: "Forget about the [Andrex] puppies, I'm bored of the puppies.

This is what we need to be doing.' So, I can't wait to see that happen."Deborah signed off with "a massive, massive well done" to Cara.Hoofe laughed along and joked that they were "team bowel cancer" as Lorraine said that she "loves the way they all support each other".Cara explained: "It's all a big community.

I was nervous, at first, making friends within the community [...] but as soon as I was in there, it's such a loving, warm unity.
