Deadline has launched the streaming site for New Tube, its inaugural global television showcase that took place Saturday with top international distribution chiefs, showrunners and talent presenting some of their buzziest scripted and unscripted content to an audience of global buyers, producers and TV executives.The panel conversations included ones with CJ ENM, the South Korean giant and one of Asia’s largest entertainment companies, which has been capitalizing on the appetite global audiences have for unscripted music entertainment.

Execs discussed a pair of their formats: I Can See Your Voice, which has 23 global adaptations worldwide including on Fox, which is set to air a second season of the series in the U.S.

The National’s Aaron and Bryce Dessner were working on a musical version of the 1897 play Cyrano de Bergerac, with lyrics from the band’s frontman Matt Berninger and his wife Carin Besser.Later that year, the play – titled Cyrano and starring Game of Thrones’ Peter Dinklage in the title role – enjoyed a short run at the historic Goodspeed Opera House’s Terris Theatre in Connecticut, before heading off-Broadway in New York City the following year.Studio MGM then acquired the rights to the film, which is directed by Joe Wright from a script written by Dinklage’s wife Erica Schmidt, and stars Haley Bennett opposite Dinklage as Roxanne.
