Davina McCall has revealed the hearbreaking moment she created a WhatsApp group in case she died on the operating table when she had brain surgery last year.
The presenter announced back in November that she had been diagnosed with a colloid cyst which had only been found after she was offered a health check-up as part of her menopause advocacy work.
She was then shocked when doctors ended up discovering a 14mm wide tumour. According to the NHS, non-cancerous brain tumours are more common in people over the age of 50, and symptoms include headaches, vision problems and drowsiness, and some can be "difficult to remove without damaging surrounding tissue".
The Long Lost Family host and Masked Singer judge explained how she sought opinions from neurosurgeons and after getting their advice, decided the best course of action was to get the tumour removed and she went under the knife for a craniotomy.
