When David Walliams delves into his family history, he makes a surprisingly nasty discovery about his ancestors. The Britain's Got Talent judges admits he "feels like a detective" when he first sets off to investigate his genealogy.
Arriving at the house he grew up in since he was two-years-old in Surrey, David jokes that there is no blue plaque but he is "working on it".
While speaking with beloved mum Kathleen, David discovers that his grandmother, Violet, did not like to talk about her life growing up. "I'm not going to say she was ashamed of it but she wanted to distance herself a bit from that," explains David's mum.
