David Martindale believes some of Celtic's players couldn't handle playing on their artificial pitch for the first time. Livi ran out 1-0 winners against Ange Postecoglou's side at the weekend in their first Premiership victory of the season.
Celtic have been unable to defeat Livingston in West Lothian since they returned to the Premiership in 2018, drawing three times and losing twice.
Livingston are currently the only Premiership team using an artificial pitch after the relegations of Kilmarnock and Hamilton last season and manager Martindale made several pointed remarks that the many new Hoops recruits this summer won't be used to it.
