Conservative MP David Amess died after being stabbed multiple times during an attack in his constituency in Essex. The member of parliament for Southend West had been attending a meeting at Belfairs Methodist Church in Leigh-on-Sea in Essex on Friday afternoon.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the incident in the English county which happened around 12.05pm.
